FRESNO -- Fresno State's Tyler Linehan and Taylor Garrison combined on a five-hitter and 15 strikeouts to lead the Bulldogs to a 2-1 win over CSU Bakersfield Friday night at Beiden Field.

Linehan (2-1) struck out 11 and allowed one unearned run in seven innings. Garrison got his fourth save, striking out two batters in both the eighth and ninth.

Tyler Iwamura, a junior 125-pounder, lost 6-3 to Hofstra's Steve Bonanno, then was eliminated when he was pinned in 52 seconds by Iowa State's Cory Finch in the wrestlebacks.

Few reports on crappie, and the bass and bluegill action is also slow. The 23rd Annual Isabella Lake Fishing Derby will be held March 31-April 2 with over $250,000 in potential prize winnings.
