Bakersfield home prices rise year-over-year

The median home price for existing homes in the Bakersfield area fell slightly from March to April, but rose 21 percent over last April to $138,665.

That's according to the Preliminary Crabtree Report by Gary Crabtree of Affiliated Appraisers.
